Enhanced treatment programmes
What are enhanced treatment programmes?
We offer Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Social and Behavioural Network Therapy. These all come under the banner of Enhanced Treatment Programmes.
Motivational Enhancement Therapy is about enhancing a person's motivation and belief in their own abilities to make changes.
Social and Behavioural Therapy works by enhancing clients’ social support to create behaviour change. This therapy involves having members of the client’s 'support network' in the sessions with them, and encouraging them to continue working with them outside the treatment arena.
All therapy is offered in a stepped care fashion, meaning that the person is offered a minimal intervention initially and then that is increased as required. Ending in discharge once the client and therapist agree that treatment is complete.
