December 2009
A warm welcome to visitors to the WISMS website new and old, and a very merry Christmas to you all.
It's been a while since I have written a homepage blog but during that time we have been working behind the scenes with our partners to refresh the content and develop the site so that it can inform our readers and engage with our service users and carers.
For the first time the site contains interactive material and pages dedicated to the work we are doing as a national Integrated Care Organisation Pilot for the Department of Health.
Christmas is a time when we look back at the year's achievements and look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead. I wish to thank all of the people who have made a contribution to the pages on this website which is a reflection of the excellent partnership working that goes on in Wakefield and the key achievements of our teams, much of which has been shared at conferences and with the many people who visit our services. 2010 will no doubt have its challenges and we hope that the website will continue to be a source of information, advice and signposting, connecting those of us who provide services with those that receive services alongside the communities that we serve.
I wish you a peaceful and happy Christmas and look forward to working with you all in the New Year.
