Referral criteria
Targeted interventions
Rebound can provide one to one interventions as part of a multi agency approach for targeted groups of young people who are at risk of misusing substances. These include but are not exclusive of:
- Persistent truants and excludees
- Homeless young people
- Young people at risk of prostitution/risk of sexual exploitation
- Young people looked after by the local authority
- Young people with low level mental health issues
- Young people with ADHD, Aspergers syndrome etc
- Children of parental substance misusers
We can also form part of group work programmes targeting 'at risk' young people.
Specialist Substance Misuse Provision
- Young people with significant and enduring level of substance misuse
- Young people indicating psychological/physical dependency on substances
- Young people with substitute prescribing needs
- Young substance users with mental health needs, ie depression, self harm, suicide ideation
- Young people with health needs ie, deep vein thrombosis
- Solvent misusers
- Young substance users involved in commercial sex work
- Pregnant young people who are misusing substances
