Our journey in search of health and wellbeing outcomes resulted in a desire for service users to experience healthier attitudes, behaviour and lifestyles through increasing participation in physical activity and increasing the number of referrals made to the smoking cessation service. We wanted to ensure service users experience meaningful social and community integration through an increase in self reported positive relationships with family members and carers and an increase in service users involved in community groups and activities. Recognising the importance of financial stability and security in an individual's recovery, we wanted to ensure that service users are equipped with the skills to manage their personal income effectively through the introduction of a money management clinic.
Finally, the group developed The Recovery Flower which based on the desired outcomes identified, measures a service user's happiness identified as crucial to individual health, wellbeing and recovery.
