Aspirations of the group

The User Experience Task Group provided a focus for our efforts to strengthen service user and community engagement and build on existing integrated and partnership working.

The Balanced Scorecard has enabled us to find and agree measures that support 'mainstreaming' and identify outcomes that work and connect to productivity and growth.

Through the implementation of the balanced scorecard we aim to see a different and best value way of doing things and in so doing add social value.

We aim to see the following outcomes achieved from the balanced scorecard as a result of the partnership approach from all Task Groups:

  • Greater numbers engaged and retained in treatment
  • Proactive referrals and mainstreamed care
  • Benefits realisation for local communities including reduced rates of unemployment and incapacity benefit
  • Increasing employment rates for substance misusers including offenders
  • Alignment of common goals - Focus on "what matters to the client"
  • More planned discharges
  • Reduced polydrug and stimulant use
  • improved engagement and intervention with MH services
  • Reduced antisocial behaviour
  • Achievement of care plan goals
  • Increased personal empowerment
  • e.g. securing work, structured lifestyle
  • Housing, benefits, family life
