Aspirations of the group

The integrated service seeks to develop its multi-agency workforce through the development and implementation of an integrated workforce strategy. This strategy will include the following inter-related work streams:

  1. Measures to strengthen inter-agency and multi-agency work at all levels.
  2. Leadership and management development and the development of a common competency framework and standards.
  3. Recruitment into the ICOP workforce to meet business needs.
  4. Managing performance of the ICOP through the Balanced Score Card
  5. Managing the performance of individuals within the ICOP including motivation and reward
  6. Retention and career progression
  7. Remodelling the workforce/new ways of working
  8. Multi-agency training and CPD to achieve common competency standards and qualifications.
  9. Introducing new technologies/interventions.
