Service Description
Wakefield DRR is a community based sentence, for the treatment, testing and supervision of adult drug misusing offenders with regular review and feedback to court
A coercive order made by the court to attend and comply with treatment and supervision requirements. The order can be high, medium or low dependent on the level of intervention set by the court and can last between 6months and 2 years. Comprehensive treatment assessment , Well-being assessment and a range of interventions, 1 specialist GP clinics per week providing Tier 3 treatment for the duration of the order, Referral pathways to Foundation housing and WISP (for IOM clients). Dual diagnosis and Alcohol clinics provided weekly on site. A range of psychosocial interventions offered as appropriate. A structured 10 week (twice weekly) Groupwork programme delivered on a rolling basis, further group work offered following completion of this. Referrals to structured day programme and P2W as part of the order. We work closely with Probation as all clients are subject to breach proceedings if they donot comply with the order.
